FlySynthesis is known to be the composite
company, with almost everything in the plane made of composite material.
We asked about the difference between the wheel version and the
amphibian version and got the following answer:
1) Floats of a special shape, made of high technological materials
(kevlar, carbon, nomex sandwich and epoxy resin) and
an airplane production cycle ( vacuum cycle with
a standardized temperature post cure, instead of an open air production cycle).
2) A high tech. 3 blade propeller
(carbon fiber with leading edge protection) special diameter, ground variable pitch, made
specifically for us.
3) All outside metal parts were changed from steel to stainless steel.
